A Canadian kidney transplant team gives the gift of life in Guyana.
PROJECT SYNOPSIS: Renal failure means death in developing countries, where most people do not have access to renal replacement therapy. In 2013, a Canadian doctor established a kidney transplant program and dialysis units in Guyana. By documenting the efforts of this Canadian medical team, the film will raise awareness about the importance of transferring complex medical services to developing countries. (In production)
